Roe vs. Wade

This is something one of our precious nurse volunteers wrote for us to share!

Roe vs. Wade became law the year I was in nurse training for my OB-GYN rotation. The hospital immediately began performing abortions, and I’m sorry to say, I was curious.

I observed a suction abortion while my roommate refused to take any part. God began to impress upon my heart the truth of life which begins the moment of conception and the evil of abortion that ends a developing life.

Over the years I’ve sought ways to fight this terrible battle whether by writing letters to lawmakers, praying in front of abortion clinics or facilitating post-abortion bible studies.

After retiring from my regular job, my first “bucket list” item was to volunteer at a pregnancy center. I recently heard someone say that pregnancy centers are really making a difference, and I agree!
